Stylist Fleur picks her favourite items for your capsule wardrobe

As a personal stylist, I’m always looking for versatile, capsule wardrobe items that can serve clients throughout the season. I’m always looking to bring colour, and design-led items but also pieces that can link together easily. Saint and Sofia do these styles really well. Every item is well made, with thoughtful details that offer a little design or quality twist that really makes a difference. They design everything in their studios in London and make them in family-owned factories in Europe.

When looking at the new items for the Autumn/Winter 21 season, there were a few items that really stood out. I love the bold Red Heritage checks and the soft textures along with the edge that can come from adding leather to your look.

Below you’ll find some of my favourite items and looks for this winter season. All of the items can work either on their own or paired together in these looks. Critically, they can be styled up or down. You can also wear any of these consciously given that Saint and Sofia are serious about sustainability. They use recycled and eco-friendly fabrics and focus on items that are easy to wash and to wear.

I hope you enjoy wearing these items as much as I have this season.

This is a bold, strong look that will turn heads when you enter any room.  Each of these items can also work on it’s own for work or for weekends. The bold red check is the ultimate statement check with a bold, confident red that is the most empowering colour. I love the tailoring of the Cambridge Blazer and Shorts, clearly well made with a comfortable fit.

You can edge up your look with the trending Reveal Roll Neck, part of the current cut-out trend that adds a little sexiness to a Roll Neck Sweater. The Leather Chelsea Boots always rock up your look with a more masculine style. All of these items are handmade in Europe with an attention to detail and with wearability in mind.

These gorgeous items offer a look that’s pure rock and roll. The Tee has a signature skull print that’s softened with flowers. It’s made with purse organic cotton and a little elastane for added stretch. It pairs perfectly with the Wide Leg Jeans, one of my favourites and undoubtedly a wardrobe classic for all the seasons.

You can easily add a twist or an edge with the Cambridge Blazer in the Red Check and the Rock and Roll Clutch. I love the quality of these items, and the fit is always true to size across the range. As ever, these items are also easy to wash and easy to wear.

I love to focus on capsule items that can work with many different outfits and looks. The Tee features again in this look as the perfect link top, easily styled with anything. The Noho Skirt has an asymmetric, high-low hemline that gives it a little twist (and is perfect for a twirl). The heritage red check looks divine and the zipper makes it easy to wear.

You can spice up any look with a bit of leather and the Blane Biker Jacket and Noho Boot are perfect for this. They can rock up any look and are made with beautifully soft leather that’s super comfortable to wear. The Jacket, in particular, is comfortable but not too fitted. I love the boots because they have a comfortable rubber sole that’s nice to walk on the first time you wear them.

This Roll Neck Dress is such a flattering style and perfect for colder days. It’s made with a beautifully soft organic cotton that’s very gentle on the skin (not scratchy). You can add a pop of colour with the Deco Silk Scarf in Red, either as a neck scarf or for the brave, a headscarf.

Another two leather pieces can complete the look, the Noho Boot in Crocodile finish and the Luther Leather Jacket. Everyone will ask, ‘where did you get those?’.
