The all black everything edit
Admired British Fashion Illustrator Sally Faye has created an All Black Edit of Saint and Sofia styles to celebrate her love affair with the colour Black. Sally’s Illustrated Coffee table Book, ‘All Black Everything’, has been highly rated by Fashion Editors and Stylists in London, New York and Paris.
The Edit, comprised of 8 distinct looks, was styled by Sally in the Saint and Sofia Studios in London over 2 days. To celebrate the book and to explore Sally’s inspirations for her design style, we filmed a beautiful portrait video that you can watch below.
Sally's book, All Black Everything, celebrates the colour black, providing creative inspiration for your personal styling. It’s available in hard cover with 240 pages covered with 150 exclusive illustrations with styling inspiration for every season, occasion and event.
Sally was kind enough to sign 20 copies of her book which are now available to order here.
‘The All Black Everything Edit is made up of a beautiful collection of eight distinct looks—all black, of course.’
‘Black colour always makes you feel exactly how you want to whether that’s sexy, confident, classy or like a bad ass rock chick, I don’t think any other colour can do that.’
Sally faye, fashion illustrator
Sally Faye is a Fashion & Beauty Illustrator represented in London & New York.
Her illustrations are feminine, playful and full of detail. Obsessing over the finer details in her drawings, Sally isn’t one to shy away from illustrating a complicated fishtail plait or getting lost in creating the texture of a fur coat. Her work can also take on a bolder, more graphic approach, working in strong, sketchy lines combined with flashes of colour. This alternative style is still recognisable as her own and shows her versatility within the illustration industry. Sally has built a high-quality client list, drawing for:
L’Oreal, MaxFactor, Benefit Cosmetics, Saint and Sofia, Dermalogica, Louboutin Beauté, Boots UK, Braun, GHD, Heaven, Maybelline, nice’n easy and VO5. As well as having her work published in The Knot, Company Magazine, Nylon and Elle UK.
Sally has worked on projects creating book illustrations for YouTuber Fleur De Force’s first book, The Glam Guide and working closely with Benefit Cosmetics makeup artist Lisa Potter-Dixon to illustrate the cover of her makeup book ‘Easy on the Eyes’. Sally has now published her own Illustrated book 'All Black Everything'.
