IN PEOPLE
In March 2023, the Saint and Sofia team was first awarded the Investors in People Gold Award for creating an outstanding place to work. This was renewed in March 2026. In June 2024, we were also nominated for the Employer of The Year Award. The Gold level is only awarded to the top 10% of businesses accredited by Investors in People and reflects that the Saint and Sofia team has best practice policies in place but more than that, it means everyone – from founders to apprentices takes ownership for making them come to life.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: "We'd like to congratulate Saint and Sofia. Gold accreditation on We invest in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places Saint and Sofia in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people."
Commenting on the award, Dessislava Bell, Co-Founder of Saint and Sofia said "We're delighted for the whole team to be recognised with such a prestigious honour. Everyone has worked hard to create a positive working environment that enables us all to achieve our best work and to deliver our mission of fair, sustainable fashion for all."
Everyone at Saint and Sofia should be congratulated for having achieved Gold accreditation as an Investors in People organisation. This is an exceptional result for a first assessment and recognises the significant journey the company has been on in the last few years. It was evident from the survey results and through conversations with people and from spending time with the organisation that Saint and Sofia is an exceptional place to work. All those interviewed by Investors in People agreed that great leadership, teamwork and the people's culture are what make Saint and Sofia the success it is today and they are happy working there.
Investors in People Awarded Saint and Sofia the Gold Award because the business leaders are clear that what makes Saint and Sofia special is not the buildings but the people and the culture they have created. People reported Saint and Sofia as being a friendly organisation that cares deeply about its staff and lives the ethos it has defined for itself. It has very high standards, but this is matched by high levels of care and support for people. There is a healthy balance between the high standards expected of individuals at Saint and Sofia and the support and recognition people receive for their hard work and dedication.
