Saint and Sofia is an award-winning brand based in London, England, dedicated to creating ready-to-wear clothing and accessories that are both fair and sustainable. At the heart of our philosophy is a commitment to challenging the status quo by fusing the art of design with the science of production. Every piece begins in our London studios, where our team carefully designs each style, before being brought to life in Europe by trusted, family-owned factories that share our values of craftsmanship, ethics, and sustainability. In November 2025, Saint and Sofia proudly joined the British Fashion Council, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the growth and development of emerging British talent within the fashion industry.
We are deeply passionate about creating timeless styles with a modern, comfortable twist. As both dreamers and doers, we believe that fashion should inspire joy and confidence, and that exceptional style should be fair, accessible, and inclusive. Since launching in January 2020, Saint and Sofia has grown rapidly, now serving over 700,000 customers worldwide. To support this growth, we operate dedicated fulfilment and operations centres across the United Kingdom, Europe, and the United States. Our team, which has grown to more than 80 talented individuals, brings together experience from pioneering brands including Louis Vuitton, Roland Mouret, Ted Baker, and French Connection.
Our founders, Malcolm Bell and Dessi Bell, have been recognised for their innovation and leadership, winning the National Business Award for E-Commerce Strategy and earning a nomination for Entrepreneur of the Year. In June 2023, Saint and Sofia was nominated for Employer of the Year and awarded the Investors in People Gold accreditation in recognition of our commitment to creating an outstanding workplace. This prestigious award was then renewed in 2026, reflecting our ongoing dedication to fostering a positive, supportive, and inspiring environment for our team.
Saint and Sofia's collections have been featured in leading publications such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, Stylist, Harper's Bazaar, and The Times, among others. Beyond fashion, we are committed to making a meaningful contribution to society. We have supported a range of charitable and cultural organisations, including the Natural History Museum in London and Trees for Cities. We are also working to support the V&A Museum and Central Saint Martins, helping to nurture creativity and education within the arts. During 2020, we contributed to vital efforts during a critical time by supporting key workers and donating to Oxford University to aid in the research and development of the AstraZeneca vaccine. Each month, we continue to give back by donating clothing to charities such as Smart Works and women's shelters across the South East of England.
The Art of Design
Every Saint and Sofia creation begins in London, where our design and development teams create modern style classics with a comfortable twist. Inspired by the energy, creativity and culture of the city, we design versatile collections that combine contemporary fashion with effortless wearability. Our designers draw inspiration from across the creative arts — from contemporary art galleries and architecture to music, film and popular culture. Throughout the year, the team collaborates with artists, makers and creatives to explore new ideas, materials and visual storytelling that shape each seasonal collection. The result is clothing and lifestyle pieces that feel modern, distinctive and designed to be worn and loved every day.
Each year, Saint and Sofia develops dedicated seasonal collections across Ready to Wear, and Accessories. Alongside these collections, we also create limited-edition collaborations and special projects with artists and master craftspeople, celebrating creativity and craftsmanship in different forms. Supporting the future of British fashion is also important to us. Saint and Sofia is proud to work with Central Saint Martins to help support and inspire the next generation of young British designers and garment technologists, helping nurture emerging talent within the creative industries.
Creative & Story Telling
Creativity has always been at the heart of Saint and Sofia. From the beginning, we have believed that fashion should do more than simply dress people — it should inspire, provoke ideas and tell stories that connect with the world around us. Storytelling remains one of our core values and continues to shape the way we design, create and communicate every collection.
Since launching in 2020, Saint and Sofia has produced more than 50 original campaigns and shot and edited over 2 million images across fashion, accessories and lifestyle collections. Working with a growing network of over 100 models, photographers, filmmakers, hair and makeup artists, stylists and creatives across the UK, we continue to build a collaborative creative community around the brand.
Every campaign is developed by our in-house creative team and brought to life either on location or within our London studios. Our creative direction is inspired by contemporary culture, art, music, film and the changing world around us. Many of our campaigns explore wider social themes and evolving lifestyles, reflecting the way modern women live, work and express themselves today.
One of our best-known campaigns, Business on Top, explored the changing relationship between comfort and tailoring during the shift towards remote working in 2020. The campaign became a reflection of a shared cultural moment — balancing comfort, confidence and connection in a changing world.
Saint and Sofia's creative work has also received international recognition, including winning Best Short Film at the Paris Film Festival in 2022.
Quality
We've built a smart supply chain using data science, lean manufacturing principles and just in time production. Our Factories are all family owned and share our values of fairness. We have a dedicated production team in Europe that visits our factories every week. This way, we can guarantee the quality of each and every single style we make. The goal was to produce efficiently, in a sustainable way to minimise cost and the impact on the environment. This way, we're able to offer a fairer price to customers because our costs are lower. We've also optimised our logistics, transport and production to reduce transport distance and cost.
Sustainability
We passionately believe in being serious about sustainability and that we have a responsibility to each other and to the planet. We make all of our styles in the most sustainable way because we believe in making products that are good for you and minimise our impact on the environment. This means being conscious of the effect each part of our design and supply chain has on us, our customers and the planet. We believe every business has a duty to have a positive social impact.

Our collections are regularly featured in editorial styling stories and luxury shopping edits, including the Financial Times' How To Spend It, where Saint and Sofia styles have been celebrated for their effortless balance of comfort, tailoring and modern femininity. The brand's creations have also appeared across television and film, worn in globally recognised productions including Netflix's 'The Crown' and Disney's 'Cruella'.

New Store | Covent Garden
We look forward to welcoming you to our new store at 35 Monmouth Street in London's Seven Dials district of Covent Garden where you can browse the collection, enjoy personal styling and see exclusive new styles. Monmouth Street was named after the Earl of Monmouth who owned land here in the 17th Century. Throughout the 18th and 19th Centuries, Monmouth Street was famous for its clothes shops and atteliers for the Royal Court. Today, Monmouth Street is part of the exciting Seven Dials district of Covent Garden - one of the most famous shopping districts of London.

As a London-based brand founded on the belief that fashion can be both creative and responsible, becoming part of the British Fashion Council marked an important milestone in our journey.
The British Fashion Council plays a vital role in championing the UK fashion industry on a global stage while helping to nurture the next generation of creative talent. Through this partnership, Saint and Sofia aims to contribute to initiatives that create meaningful opportunities for young designers, creatives and emerging industry professionals across the United Kingdom.
Investors In People | Gold Award
At Saint and Sofia, we believe that creating a great brand starts with creating a great place to work. In March 2023, Saint and Sofia was proudly awarded the Investors in People Gold Award in recognition of the culture, environment and opportunities created across the business. This accreditation was renewed in March 2026, reflecting our continued commitment to supporting and developing our team of over 80 people.
The Gold level is awarded to only the top 10% of organisations accredited by Investors in People and recognises businesses that go beyond best practice policies to create a culture where people genuinely thrive. At Saint and Sofia, this means everyone — from founders to apprentices — takes ownership in helping shape a positive, collaborative and ambitious working environment.
In June 2024, Saint and Sofia was also nominated for the Employer of the Year Award, recognising the company's continued investment in its people, culture and future talent.
